Conair is recalling 322,000 curling irons due to electrocution and shock hazards. The handle of the curling iron can come apart exposing the line cord.

The recall involves ceramic, gold-matte finish curling irons. Date codes included in the recall range from November 2005 - July 2006. Printed on the iron handle is the name "Conair."

Consumers should discontinue use of the curling iron immediately and contact Conair about a new, free replacement.
